Child Rights Trust (CRT), committed to the vision of “Every Child, Every Right,” organized a two-day training programme on “From Imagination to Possibility – Child Rights” in Hosapete on 30–31 July 2026.

The training brought together 42 participants, including Dr. Padmini Child Rights Fellowship fellows, representatives of local organizations and institutions, child rights advocates, and staff from CRT’s Kurugodu office.

The programme was inaugurated by Mr. Uday Bekal (APF), Mr. Ramachandran (Sneha Organization), and Dr. Vasudeva Sharma (Child Rights Trust) through the release of child rights awareness posters.

The training covered key topics including the history and evolution of child rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC), major child rights provisions, child-related laws, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and child protection mechanisms.

The sessions used participatory and interactive methods such as group activities, discussions, quizzes, question-and-answer sessions, experience sharing, and local examples. A pre-training and post-training survey was conducted to assess participants’ knowledge and learning.

Participants reported improved awareness and understanding of child rights and expressed their commitment to applying the learning in their professional and community work. At the end of the programme, participants received certificates and child rights resource materials and were encouraged to share their action plans for promoting and protecting child rights.

The programme concluded with appreciation to all the facilitators, organizers, partners, and participants for their active contribution to the successful training.
